A lot of manufacturers of graphics boards are pushing their high ended cards to the water-cooled approach. Sapphires 3870 GPU uses just that. Sapphire uses the ATOMIC water-cooling kit for their means to cooling. By using a water-cooling unit the GPU and memory temperatures are lowered considerably.
