Core I7 - How does it compare
Tuesday, November 4th, 2008Well the benchmarks are out! I found a set comparing the top current players such as the core 2 quad extreme along side a AMD phenom which you could forget about already anyway! the surprise was when I found results of 60/ 70 fps higher than the last generation of processor. These gains were only apparent with certain gaming engines but it was proven that the best Core i7 processor was well above its competition and older models in its class.
I will keep a look out for future processor benchmarks for a more balanced result.
