Usually I take these premature benchmarks with a pinch of salt but at the end of the day its data and its data we can use to make up our minds where to splash your future cash! The benchmarks covered different results based on power consumption where the ATI 4870 x 2 clearly came second.

The ATI HD 49×0 series cards are on the horizon! but the bad news is ATi will be releasing these cardsfor compatibility of the directx 11 engine. The release date is set for the 4th quarter of 2009 so there is atleast 10 month wait untill the next major release.
