ATI 49xx series graphics cards

The ATI HD 49×0 series cards are on the horizon! but the bad news is ATi will be releasing these cardsfor compatibility of the directx 11 engine. The release date is set for the 4th quarter of 2009 so there is atleast 10 month wait untill the next major release.
Nvidia will be releasing their 295 GTX graphics card which include two 260 GTX together, so you could say the 49xx series graphics cards will be battling against nvidias release. ATI will also not be using GDDR 4 due to the price of the memory and how similar it performs to GDDR5 anyway.
