Bidding war between Dell and HP

Dell is in a constant bidding war with Hewlett Packard over 3Par Inc which is a data storage company.
An offer by Dell of $1.13 billion has been upped by HP to $1.5 billion. Dell are determined to win the bidding war, so they may have to increase their bid even further.
Both companies are so desperate to get 3Par because it will allow them to get more involved in cloud computing. This allows companies to deliver software over the internet.
It is expected that Dell will put in another bid because it is determined to win and has enough cash to back up this desire.
