So when is it ever a good time to buy a P.C? Well in my opinion I don’t think there is ever a good time to buy! Technology is forever changing updated hardware is released every 6 months if not quarterly.

So when is it a good time to buy hardware? Do you wait for the latest technology and pay the high price to go with it? Or do you wait till the prices go down and then buy the not so latest technology? The other option is to buy 6 months / 12 month old parts when new technology is released, this way you get last years hardware at a fraction of the cost.
This sounds all well and good but do you want to get the old top of the range or the latest technology at main stream level? For example take the extreme series Intel processors these cost around £900 and £1000 for the top model. Now think of Intels new technology Nehalem, once this hits the market the extreme processors can probably be snapped up for around sub £500?

Expect products which are enthusiast level now can be snapped up for main stream prices!
