Analysts have warned that due to the global recession, the adoption of DDR3 modules will be delayed within main-stream markets. Due to DDR oversupply and the current fiancial crisis DDR2 was dropped by 73 per cent. This meant DDR3 was also affected by the credit crunch but modules could not be directly in competition with the older brother memory.
Even though DDR3 lowest clock became around the same price as DDR2 but because of the over supply DDR2 will still stretch out till the end of this year.
