Dell adds GPS and Wifi positioning to the Mini10

We’ve reviewed the Dell Mini 10 when it came out a few month back and were pretty impressed by the beast. After a few hardware updates it is time for it to get a GPS module combined with Wifi to give you an accurate position.
The technologies work hands in hands but also help when one is not at its best. The Wifi positioning System (WPS) will help in urdan areas where the GPS doesn’t always work because of tall buildings or ceilings.
Alongside those hardware addons Dell will pre-install a browser plugin called Loki, which allows you to get search information relevant to your location.
The new module will first be supported by Windows XP, followed by Vista and 7 in the future. Now The question is, will it be distributed outside the US soon?
