Intel aerial

Intel have decided to re-invent the aerial, after thinking for a second about the existing problem Intel have actually re-invented something that will be promising on release.
Instead of taking your aerial mast with you every where you go to get a sufficient analogue signal Intel have decided to integrate an aerial into laptop. Intel have stated that they were the first to invent such an aerial and patent is currently pending, wonder why?
Its surprising to think that no one else has thought of the idea. But as always there are always other options. I remember at least three years ago MSI computers had a poll on their website which said “what would you like as your next integrated component”. Guess what one of the possible options were? It was in-fact an in-build on-digital set top box aka FREEVIEW!
Now looking back at Intels creation, the standardised aerial within a laptop seems similfied compared to an integrated set top box which would in-fact benifit the end user more. I’m not sure what happened with the on-board idea but I’m guessing a patent was declined as will Intels!
