Intel releases 65W based processors

Intel have recently reduced their price of main stream quad core processors. To gain an even higher profit share of the quad core market they have released a lower wattage version of their 755 socket quad core processors. The TDP of the processors is just 65W and offer 2.8GHz being the highest clock in the range.
Intel will release a 2.83 Ghz, 2.66Ghz and a 2.33Ghz processor with various L2 Cache. There is a down side however! the 95W versions of the same processor are around £60 cheaper so why would you bother? Well if mini-ATX is your thing then you may reconsider that price increase!
