iPad starts to look less like a Giant IPhone

We still know reliably little about the iPad.. There have been a couple of screenshots of the app store, showing detailed categories, a propper interface and an emphasis on uploading and synching data with desktop versions of Apps on your local desktop or uploading data to webspace.
One of the things that would still really bug me is the fact that each app has its own policy.. It would be quite easy to get bogged down with hundreds of apps.. Everything from DropBox to TweetDeck to Facebook to Shazam all synching up to your desktop downloading and uploading bloated xml.
