Nvidia Geforce GTX 295

Nvidia had to fit back against ATI’s latest Graphics board the 4870 x2. Nvidias 280 GTX just couldn’t catch the 2 core gpu up! So what did Nvidia do? Well they decided to do the same well not quite, less technical in-fact! Nvidia basically put two boards together.
THe GPU board combines two 55nm before 260 gtx GPU’s with a 290W power usage. No bad considering Nvidia usually has high power usage. THe processor uses 480 stream processors but 2 x 260 GTS cards equals 432 stream processors, so has using the 55nm process helped to put more cores onto the processor!?
The Nvidia card will contain 1,792 MB of GDDR3 memory not GDDR5 like ATI. The memory on this board equals twice the amount of the GTX 260 but its still not as fast as the GDDR5.
Could Nvidia have the title yet again for like say 6 months? may be 4! lets wait and see.
