Sony releasing Vaio W, a real netbook

After its first attempt at a premium netbook with the Vaio P, Sony try to close the gap in its product range by producing a netbook that is one. 10.1in screen, 1.6Ghz Atom, 1Gb of ram, 160 Gb HDD and the usual connectivity, this is definitely classed as netbook.
While it doesn’t look as good as we would have hoped the keyboard seems pretty nice with isolated key like in most other Sony laptops.

The screen also boast a 1366 x 768 screen resolution which is not so standard as the rest of the machine. One variable left unknown is the price which is said to be around the $490 mark, but too often translated to the exact same number in British pounds. Even considering the current exchange rate is £1 = $1.6 ….
