Toshiba Blue Ray / DVD Disk

Toshiba have created a blu ray dvd combo! So what does this actually mean? Well Toshiba have created a media capable of reading both blue ray and dvd data on the same side of the disk. The disk has a special reflective layer which will allows the dvd laser to read the data without the blu ray laser causing interference. So the media is acting as a dual layer allowing both types of media to be processed at any one time.
