Video games can kill YOU!

The UK government, the state of information and the department of health have wasted tax payers hard earned money on a advertisement. The advert is linked to playing video games which is considered life threatening.
The change4Life campaign which is behind the advertisement is backed by other large organisations. The British Heart Foundation, Diabetes UK and Cancer research are all backing the campaign.
The advert shows a child sitting holding a playstation controller followed by the slogan “Risk an early death, just do nothing”.
The advert is a general messages to tell parents to get their children moving or just to get children in general up on their feet. I think its very OTT that the message is relating to video games as a risk to early DEATH! I can imagine children across the UK having nightmares about playing on their playstations now!
To conclude industry.biz wanted to point out that there is no evidence that video gaming is linked to obesity in children, in other words an easy target.
